Hidden Hamlet sits right on that line – a dense, sun-dappled village tucked into a forest, rendered with the kind of thick, textured brushstrokes that make you want to reach out and touch the canvas. The elevated perspective lets you see the whole scene at once: the cluster of terracotta roofs, the yellow and blue facades, the narrow road winding between buildings, and the forest just swallowing it all up in green.
What makes this piece work is the tension between the wild and the lived-in. The trees are almost overpowering – deep emerald, lime highlights, shadows that go on forever – but the village holds its own. Incase you receive a damaged artwork, which is damaged in transit, kindly get in touch immediately. We may require a proof of damage before processing the request for either a replacement or a refund.
